Terms of Service
These terms govern the relationship between the Provider and users of the Pixendo service ("User").
1. Provider The Pixendo service is operated by Matěj Čičák, Company ID (IČO): 06740707, registered office: Borkovany 140, 691 75 Borkovany, Česká republika, a self-employed individual registered in the Czech Trade Licensing Register ("Provider"). Contact: info@pixendo.cz. The Provider is not a VAT payer.
2. Service Pixendo allows users to upload photos, generate AI images in selected styles, and order prints and delivery.
3. Registration and User Account Some functions require registration and login. The User is responsible for the correctness of their data.
4. Orders, Payment, and Delivery The order is binding upon confirmation in the system. Payment is made online. Goods are shipped after payment is received. Delivery time is usually 2–5 business days unless otherwise specified.
5. Price The price for each service and product is shown on the website and is final. The Provider is not a VAT payer, so no VAT is added to the price.
6. Withdrawal from the Contract (pre-contractual information) The goods are custom-made according to the User's photo and specifications. Under Section 1837(d) of the Czech Civil Code (and Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU), a consumer cannot withdraw from a contract for goods made to their specifications or personalised to their needs. For digital content delivered electronically, the User expressly consents to delivery before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period and acknowledges that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost. The User acknowledges this information before completing the order when giving binding approval of the product preview.
7. Complaints (rights arising from defective performance) The User may claim defective performance — in particular damaged or poor-quality prints, wrong format, or incomplete delivery. Complaints can be made by email to info@pixendo.cz with the order number, a description of the defect, and a photo. The Provider will resolve the complaint without undue delay, at the latest within 30 days. A characteristic of the AI-generated image that the User approved in the binding preview is not a defect; however, the printed product must match the approved preview.
8. Responsibility for Uploaded Content The User is fully responsible for the content of uploaded photos and declares that they hold the necessary rights, including the consent of persons depicted. Uploading illegal, offensive, or third-party protected content is forbidden. Suspected rights infringements can be reported to info@pixendo.cz; the Provider will review and remove infringing content without undue delay.
9. Out-of-court Dispute Resolution Consumer disputes may be resolved out of court by the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), Štěpánská 796/44, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic, www.coi.cz. Consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
10. Privacy Personal data processing rules are described in the separate Privacy Policy document.
11. Final Provisions The Provider may change these terms. The current version is always available on the website. These terms are effective as of 2026-07-19.
